Double the blessings

here is the picture I spoke about in my previous post.  It’s quite shocking to see my belly from this view.  It looks enoromous.  You can also see my small patch of stretch marks…boo hoo.

Today was a long day, but it was a fun one!  Doug, Willow, and I drove to Irvine to Mark and Rachel’s house to take my maternity pictures.  Rachel is an awesome photographer, and she offered to take my pictures for free and discount her prints.  I’m not very comfortable in front of the camera, but Rachel is a pro and made me feel at ease.  She must have taken hundreds of pictures.  We got there at noon, started shooting probably around 1pm, and didn’t finish until almost 4:30pm. 

I can’t wait to see how they turned out.  She gave me a sneak preview of some of the shots from her digital camera, and they looked awesome.  She knows all the tricks to make me look slim…well, as slim as a pregnant woman can look.  Willow and Lucy, their Cavalier, got along great.  They were the best of friends.  Although I was positioned on the bed for some of the shoot, most of the shoot was done with me standing.  My feet were screaming for relief.  By the time we got home and ate dinner, I was completely knocked out on the couch.  I had to sleep for about two hours to recoup.  I will post the pictures when they are finished.  Yay…I can’t wait!
